Both of these pieces are inspired by Ravilious, although I think the atmosphere of them is close to what I want, I think the surronding backgrounds need to be more detailed. I think I should develop them more and continue to use the pencil on coloured paper.
I think this approach is worth developing a little further as they do have a great atmosphere. But you are right there needs to be a greater attention to detail/composition etc.
