Eric Ravilious
Ravilious was an English illustrator and was sadly killed in the war in 1942. He worked in various mediums but I have been looking mostly at his lithographs.
Because I have worked mostly in the past in limited colours of black and white, especially because Poor Cow was produced in colour, it would be good to experiment with more colour. I think by researching and exploring illustrators who have used a limited but colourful palette will help to convey the colours of the scenes within my work.
