Henry Hutt - Working on faces

After finding the Fitzgerald illustrated covers I came across Henry Hutt and thought the isolated expressions of the women worked with how I would like my characters to look. I really enjoyed drawing from these and I think by making the eyes big and wide it helped to create the expression I wanted.
