Mrs Engels

After John suggested I research into Engel's wife I read the historical fiction 
written by Gavin McCrea about Lizzie Burns Engel's second wife and Mary's sister. 
The book was really good and it was interesting to read about the lives of the women behind these great thinkers, I do feel they should of had more credit though as they helped both Marx and Engels with gathering the first hand experiences they needed to create the manifesto. 

I think Loach could make a great film about Lizzie and Mary as I think the Manchester slums although there's lots of books on it isn't as prevalent in film.
