| In 2018 Billingham made a film about his mother and father Ray and Liz but followed his brother Jason's experiences rather than his own. The film was cinematically amazing the colours of the film were really beautiful and it did feel like a photo come to life. I think this against the very real and quite disturbing scenes of their lives was really inspirational and I think it portrays well the harshness of poverty and what you can artistically do with that. It did remind me a bit of This is England but I really enjoyed it |
