Shelagh print

After watching and reading about Shelagh I really wanted to create a lino of a portrait of her. Although I am trying to create new compositions I wanted to work from the photo of her taken at her desk, I love the composition of the photo and it was also a nice start to get back into work after not being well. 
The lino block is just under A4 size and I printed out the picture to work on and then traced it onto the lino and then drew in biro over the image. I have no black ink at the moment so I had to print it in blue which isn't the best ink so I will reprint it when I can. 
I used new paper for this and thought it worked well, it's thin writing paper and the ink takes really well to it.
