Working on faces - What I learnt

As John suggested I went through the Illustrated Dust Jacket book and drew from the faces in there.
I don't think these are as successful as the Henry Hutt responses but I still learned from them. 
I think what I learned most from drawing these portraits is that using pencil instead of fineliner helps to give more of a realistic look and that I need to think about the placement of features when I draw such as the length of the nose and where the mouth is in regards to the chin.
