Coronation street idea

Coronation street idea - As I mentioned in a previous post I had an idea of working from the sets of Coronation Street again, I saw this photo and thought it sums up perfectly the way older women felt and aren't portrayed properly in some kitchen sink films. Both the characters remind me of the mother's in Shelagh's Lion in Love and Taste of Honey and I think it would make a great print. 

I also think it would be a good thing to view working-class older mothers more seriously as when they are presented within films or in the media they are humoured for their struggles rather than sympathised with.
