Putting myself in scenes - the role of the actor

Through putting myself in the scenes, I haven't just provided useful reference but I am playing the role of the actor just as Carol White has done in both Cathy Come Home and Poor Cow.
As John has said there is another layer of interpretation, Poor Cow was a novel which was then taken into a film and Carol interprets the role of Joy as I am now putting myself in similar scenes and situations but digitally not physically which has brought this more contemporary and into today.
One of the main aims of my project was that although these films are over 50 years old they are still relevant, housing is still an issue and women still have to rely on men to surpass their classes (sometimes).  Through now putting myself into these scenes it feels a lot more significant in bringing the relevance of poverty and class into today.

I have also really enjoyed putting myself into them which I'm surprised at, as I thought I would hate drawing myself but one of the reasons why I love these films so much is because they are comforting and I can relate to them and the characters situations.
