Working from Shelagh Delaney

Alongside of the Tameside Care Group project, due to the nature of working in a partnership me and John decided that I should create some work inspired by Shelagh Delaney too. 

Within Authorship I was also inspired by Shelagh's work as well as Ken Loach's. In the same method as I created the prints for Cathy Come Home and Poor Cow I will illustrate some scenes from A Taste of Honey, Lion in Love and the short stories Sweetly Sings the Donkey. 

Shelagh is one of my favourite writers and is a great example of the value working-class people can have in literature and theatre.
