Finished A2 print

Finished print - I'm really happy with how it came out, it was hard to print as there were some textured bits on the lino where the ink wouldn't take, I've had this happen before with A3 lino so I had to fill those in on photoshop but overall the figures are as clean and sharp as I wanted and I was worried it would too flat without some lines or shadow but I think the composition is fine.

I think it portrays well the aspects of the play I wanted to get across and all the different personalities of the characters. I also think it's nice just to have something for Shelagh's second play as it wasn't as successful as A Taste of Honey and she never did another after this one.

I was thinking about creating another one but with the time I have left and having to make another composition I think I would rush it and it wouldn't be as successful, instead, as I have some A5 lino left I'll make some smaller leaflets/playbills to go with the poster.

With John's feedback of my work being more of a comment on research rather than vice versa I think this print really emphasises and fits my work process of filling in parts of  history and contextualising films and literature.
